N.E.X.U.S. is growing because many of you are contributing your time, knowledge, and heart: writing texts, translating, researching, organizing, guiding people, programming, preparing meetings, and much more.

This work is valuable – and it should not remain invisible.

That is why time tracking for N.E.X.U.S. is now available right here in the portal.

Why is this important?

One of the fundamental ideas of our Genesis Pact is Proof of Work: N.E.X.U.S. does not come into being through ideas and words alone, but by people actually contributing something.

And we will carry this exact idea forward later in the AETHER protocol.

There, the principle is called Proof of Useful Work: value is created through a traceable, useful contribution to people and the community.

VITA Ꝟ is intended as an internal community accounting unit for such tangibly confirmed contributions and for providing for daily life.

What happens to your hours?

Every logged and confirmed hour is now permanently and traceably documented.

With this, we are already creating a history of contributions today, recording who did what for N.E.X.U.S. and when.

When AETHER is practically implemented later in the OneApp, these confirmed contributions can serve as the basis for adoption into the AETHER system.

The exact rules for this – such as how different activities are valued and confirmed – will be collaboratively developed and tested within the AETHER protocol.

What matters most, however:

What you contribute to N.E.X.U.S. today should not simply be forgotten tomorrow. 💛

How to log your hours

The easiest way: Write to the assistant

Open a private message to our NOVA the N.E.X.U.S. assistant
Simply write in plain words what you did. For example:
- “Worked 2 hours today on the newsletter for Circle 7.”
- “Yesterday a half-hour phone call regarding the SOBA community.”
The assistant logs the contribution and confirms it for you.
If it doesn’t know which Circle the activity belongs to, it will ask. Just reply with the corresponding number.

You can also write to the assistant in English or Spanish.

Or via “My Working Hours”

Tap your profile picture at the top right.
Select “⏱ My Working Hours”.
Enter: How many hours? When? For which Circle? What did you do?
Tap “✓ Submit”.

Done.

What happens next?

An admin will review your entry and approve it. Afterwards, you will receive a message from the assistant.

If anything is unclear, there might be a brief follow-up question.

Under “My Working Hours” you can see at any time:

✅ your confirmed hours
⏳ pending entries
📅 your contributions for the current month

You can also simply ask the assistant:

“My hours”

What can you log?

Anything that represents a concrete and traceable contribution to N.E.X.U.S. or the community:

Writing, translating, designing, programming, organizing, researching, moderating, guiding people, preparing events, technical work, and much more.

Simply describe what you did in one or two sentences.

Naturally, you can also log half hours.

💡 Tip: Log your activity on the same day whenever possible. That way, nothing gets lost.
